My Mission
I strive to provide stellar bespoke, limited run and one of kind clothing for my customers.
My work reflects my love of unique, quality garments. I create simple skirts using silk, cotton and wool allowing the beauty of the material speak for the garment. Tops and scarves are hand dyed using a variety of methods such as tub dying, dipping, overdyeing, and block printing and painting.
My Process
Combining fabric dyes to create custom colors is central to my design process. A slow, mindful process, first the body of the garment is constructed. Next, a base dye is applied and allowed to dry. Each subsequent color is mixed, applied, and allowed to dry prior to deciding on the next dye combination in the overall color story. Thus,

After the dye process is complete the garment is fully assembled.

My History
A generational designer and garment constructor, I learned how to combine garment colors and textures from my maternal grandmother who worked in a fabric mill by day and constructed bespoke wedding gowns by night. My paternal grandfather was a tailor who taught me how to use a sewing machine and couture sewing technique when I was ten. F

Founded in 2011, Isabella Gabry Textiles has been providing custom one of a kind clothing and accessories for over 13 years.
